Striving to improve

Sustainable Demolition

We are an established, highly capable and competent demolition and decommissioning specialist, managed by a team who collectively have more than 100 years experience within the demolition and salvage industry.

Based in North Kent, Alpine Demolition undertake work throughout the UK, in a variety of different methodologies all of which require a unique approach. The Alpine Demolition project portfolio ranges from small residential and community projects, through to extensive multi-discipline contracts, as both principal and subcontractor.

We work closely with architects and structural engineers and routinely liaise with stakeholders at all levels when executing our projects. Our success has a direct correlation to the skill, experience and commitment that our team bring to the business.

All our personnel receive regular ‘in-house’ training in line with our commitment to continual improvement of our resources. We hold SSiP and ISO accreditations and along with improving our in house resources and using cutting edge reporting and consulting technology we aim to continually improve the works and value we bring to the demolition market.

At Alpine Demolition we think ‘resource’ before ‘waste’ and look for every opportunity for the sustainable reuse or recycling of materials either within or off site.

Our expertise allows us to minimise any off-site disposal of contaminated soils through innovative treatment technologies and robust remediation design. The demolition of buildings or the remediation of contaminated soils and / or groundwater carries with it some form of environmental impact.

Every project can have a potentially negative impact, whether the activity consumes valuable landfill space or creates an increase in local noise, dust or traffic ; or even through the widening of a project’s carbon footprint.

Our Project Managers strive to minimise any negative effects which result from our activities by considering them prior to mobilisation of the site. They ensure that any attention from the public, regulators or site neighbours is positive and supportive and hold consultations to keep all stakeholders abreast of potential issues

Reuse of materials arising from demolition is important to us. Our project teams develop material management plans to ascertain the most effective methods of material recovery and waste management.
